He forgot that she did not have magnetic feet like he did. This is why human/robot relationships can never be.

Gearing Up
Things are starting to speed up as my final residency and impending graduation are mere days away. I've got my lecture to finish, a webzine to edit, and guest comics for Gibberish to pull together.I feel like my days have shortened, and they only seem to be getting shorter. I suppose this will be for the better though, as I will have less time to be stressed out about everything--especially as the projects are backing up.
Once I officially have my master's degree in hand though, I'm hoping to get back into my novel, revise it up, and send it back to the agent that is interested in seeing a revision. Also, I'm hoping to start work on a collection of Gibberish. The comic is a mere two weeks from turning one year old--amazing, I know--and I think I now have enough for a collection. Would anyone be interested in owning such a thing? I figure it will probably run about eight bucks for Year One, should be in color, and probably be around 120 pages. Any interest in having such a thing would be invaluable info for me, so please, drop me a line, leave a comment, whatever, just let me know if you'd want such a thing.
In the meantime, I continue to plug away, work on my art, and stress over these final moments of schooling.
Gibberish tomorrow.

Finally...
It is a far cry from what I originally wanted, the pic above (which I'm thinking will probably become the cover for the first Gibberish collection), but I'm still happy with the overall result. It's nice and simple, but I think this fits in with the Gibberish aesthetic.
There are still a few things that I need to add/edit and polish up. For the moment, though, this is good. Much better than it was. Also, be aware that once that site is up and running the way I'd like it to be, I will probably quit uploading the new comics to this blog and just have them posted at their "home." I'll still update this, though, probably even go back to my five-day schedule, but I'm not positive on that last bit.
Please, go check out the redesigned site, tell me what you think, and be sure to bookmark or subscribe to the feed.
Thank you to all my faithful readers, Gibberish has been going for almost a year now, and even though I don't have many readers, I appreciate those of you that keep coming back.

Where to Start...
The main reason I'm soliciting work and money is that my stupid Xbox 360 died the other night, giving me an almost full red ring of death after I tried to play some more Mirror's Edge. Stupid shoddy Microsoft system. I have an old Nintendo that's almost as old as me, and it still works great--I was playing it last night. Anyway, the short of this is that my warranty is out, and it'll cost $99.00 for a fix, plus shipping. So, I need money so I can get my Rockband back on again. And mayhap actually be able to play games I rent, like Mirror's Edge.
Take the weekend to ponder what you might want, but I expect commissions people. You should be getting your taxes back soon, you've got money to blow...
Until Monday, have a better weekend than my last few days.

Making Arts
So, I've decided that producing any new writing at the moment is all but impossible. Now that I seem to understand some of the basics when it comes to revision, I'm going to keep at my novel and work on a handful of my earlier pieces. In the meantime, though, I plan on doing some art-like things, since I have yet to prepare for the upcoming show.I'll try and post pics of what I'll be putting into the gallery. This first pic is a collaboration with a mighty fine fellow, named Abner, that made the whole art show possible. Basically, if it weren't for his amazing talent, there wouldn't be a show. And if he wasn't gracious enough to extend an invite, I wouldn't be involved. As for the pic, he did the initial sketch and design of this, then I did my best to ink and color it. Don't know if it works, but I'm trying a few new things and working with color in general. (Black and white is so, SO much easier.)
More than likely, that's what my weekend will consist of, revision and arting it up. Maybe another film, but seriously, the theatres are all but worthless right now. City of Ember isn't bad, but it didn't restore my faith in Hollywood either.
Until Monday.

My Expensive Habit
I was able to post a new comic today, so check it out and pretend it's funny. And if my creations don't thrill you, here is a site that should thrill you. If not, then I don't know why you're even bothering with me.
And hopefully I can figure out Paypal's mahopper and I'll be able to put up a donation button. Wacom, here I come.
