Until Wednesday, I was not aware that one could give Prozac to their pets. I don't know if it is a different formula than what doctors prescribe for us humans, but it can help level a cat out.
I may have mentioned him in the past, Mr. McTookis, but this cat has been ridiculous from day one. Granted, he IS/WAS a feral cat, and he's so ornery, my wife and I haven't known what to do with him. And it's not that he's peeing on stuff or clawing our couch to shreds--from what I can tell, he hasn't peed anywhere but the litter box--but he attacks our other two cats non-stop. This isn't just the playful tussle either: Tookis stalks them, corners them, boxes them out from coming or going from certain rooms. As his name suggests, he's an asshole. And this is probably my fault for naming him what I did.
So, even though I hate to do it--I think the world is incredibly overmedicated--for my other cats' sake, my wife and I decided that it really is for the best. Of course, if it changes his personality too much (I love that little booger) we'll stop the meds, but for now, he seems to be the same Tookis, he just sleeps a bit more. I've got my eye on him though.
Enough about my cat--which I'm sure you're already thinking--I've got things to do, plenty to do, and will give a full report on Monday, as some of it--to me at least--is quite exciting.
Have a good weekend.

Whew...
Today marks the end of my third semester for the MFA program. Only one left and I become a holder of a master's degree. Kinda frightening if you ask me. Luckily I finished most of my work yesterday for my turn in today, otherwise I'd be in trouble, as today will be rather busy. Ah well.
Found out last night that one of my cats has only one working kidney--and that one is weak. It's weird to think about how animals have so many of the same problems as we do, but we mostly don't take the time to find out what's wrong. I guess it just strikes me as odd, and I can't really say why.
All in all, I'm in a weird mood today. Need some more sleep. I think I shouldn't be allowed to make chili anymore (as it is WAY to hot for my own taste.) And I feel like there is too much to do in my remaining weeks before so much will explode.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend, and I'll see you back on Monday.

An Early Animation
So this is an early animation that I made a few years back for an undergrad animation class. I'm hoping that once I purchase me a copy of Toon Boom's new Studio 4.5, I'll be able to make better quality nonsense--I've already got my first animation all plotted out.
One of these days I might add a soundtrack, but don't count on it. If anything, I've still got all my original artwork, so maybe I'll scan it all and put it together with Toon Boom, then it will be brighter and better and with sound.
In the meantime though, there is a new We've Got Brains, which heralds the return of tablet art and continues the random storyline I've got going.
More Gibberish tomorrow, and possibly bonus Gibberish on Friday and Monday, since it looks like I will be in Colorado this weekend. Until next time.
