Update on the Pad Front

If I were an adolescent girl, the title of this blog would be dreadfully wrong, but since I'm not, it's okay--just chock full o' innuendo. What it means for me is that I'm this much closer to getting me a tablet for all my drawing funses.

Along with my ad whoring and customized magnets, I've posted almost 25 video games for sale on eBay. If you're into video games--especially random RPGs for the PS2 and Gamecube--I've got a decent set of items for your perusal. Go here to check out all that I'm selling. I'm hoping that I can average about $3.00 per game, and get meself about $75.00 towards my tablet cause, which will put me at about the halfway mark.

What's that you say? Wacom Intuos tablets are quite expensive, much more than $150. 'Tis true, but I've found another Wacom product that should suite my needs. The Bamboo Fun (Medium). It might not be quite as elaborate or advanced as the Intuos, but it's a crapton cheaper and should work just fine for what I need to use it for. I may regret this down the line. But I have a feeling that if I ever get to the point that I need an Intuos or something better, I'll probably be able to afford the stupid thing.

Hopefully, I'll have a tablet up and running by the end of the month. Wish me luck.

Oh, yes, and as for my surprise, come back tomorrow and all will be reavealed.

On My Way

I can't help but get slightly excited about the few new people that have checked out my comic. All of my advertising push is starting to pay off as the days go along. Since Monday, there have been over 60 new people that have checked out the comic. And that, my friends, is cause for celebration--which, of course, will be a Dr. Pepper with pellet ice.

Anywho, I've realized that because of this push to check out my comic, I'm needing to start pushing people here, through ads and my new venture that will, hopefully, start up next week. So stay tuned.

In the meantime, I must give a quick plug again for Wall E. My wife and I checked it out for the second time last night. For having the majority of the dialogue being "Wall E" and "Eva," Pixar has made a mighty fine little film. Though I bet it's got nothing on the new Mummy. (For those of you that might think I'm serious, please know that although I plan on seeing The Mummy: Tomb of the Dragon Emperor, I have no expectations for it, and I think the world might explode if it is better than Wall E.)

My Expensive Habit

So my love for Dr. Pepper has now become rather costly. After visiting the dentist yesterday--the x-rays, the scrapping, the mantra of "floss, floss, floss,"--I had to go back again today, where we discussed the condition of my teeth and the expenses involved with fixing them. On top of the numerous cavaties, I apparently have a cracked tooth that requires a crown. They've assured me that it will look just like a regular tooth, but for the amount of money it costs, I'd prefer it to look like a golden nugget that was born with diamond tumors. Freaking ridiculous. However, I doubt that this fact will dampen my NEED for the Dr. Pepper and pellet ice.

I was able to post a new comic today, so check it out and pretend it's funny. And if my creations don't thrill you, here is a site that should thrill you. If not, then I don't know why you're even bothering with me.

And hopefully I can figure out Paypal's mahopper and I'll be able to put up a donation button. Wacom, here I come.
